JANUARY

MACHINE GUIDE CLASS– Jan. 10, 17 & 24th, 10AM OR 6PM:

Not feeling all that familiar with your machine? Join us for this class and learn new techniques to get you on the road to sewing success! The Janome Education Department has indicated to us that these classes are worth $75./hour. This is a great savings for the customers who have purchased their  machines at Sew Much Fun! MAKE SURE TO CALL TO REGISTER .

ROTARY MAT & RULER BAG, Jan. 18 10AM:

Everyone struggles with how to tote their rotary mats and rulers to class, so we have designed a tote for just this purpose. Also, we have found a wonderful line of pre-quilted fabrics and matching border that will be great for this project! Class Fee: $20/$45 plus supplies

WARM WINTER WISHES RAG QUILT, Jan. 19 & Feb. 2 10AM or 6PM:

The warm and snuggly images of snowmen and hot cocoa in this rag quilt just make you want to curl up with a good book! Quick and easy, this is a great project for beginners. $25./$40. plus supplies.

ALWAYS & FOREVER TABLE RUNNER/DOOR DECORATION, Jan 25 & Feb. 8, 10am:

This quick and easy table runner and wall hanging/door decoration will give your home a great festive look for Valentines Day! One panel from Moda’s “Always and Forever” line of fabrics will make both projects. Really fun! Class Fee: $25./$45. plus supplies.

COTTON THEORY ATTIC WINDOWS- 1/26, 2/9, 3/22, 4/12 & 5/24, 10am & 6pm:

This quilt uses a totally “quilt as you go” technique, in which you quilt each piece individually, then assemble the quilt, making for a very durable, attractive and totally reversible quilt. We LOVE this technique and have implemented the Bittersweet line of fabrics. Join us for a totally new quilting  experience! Class fee: $50/&75. plus supplies

BEGINNING EMBROIDERY WORKSHOP—January 28, 10-3PM:

Do you wonder what stabilizer to use with certain fabrics? Let us help you unravel the learning curve and get right to perfect results! We will also discuss needles, threads, marking, hooping and stabilizing, and placement guidelines. Join us for a fun day and leave with handouts and samples! Class Fee: $25.

SNOW SPARKLE BATIK QUILT– Jan 31, Feb 7 & 21, 10am or 6pm:

Join us and make this beautiful quilt featuring fussy cut large snowflake blocks that alternate with nine patch blocks. The shades of deep and light blue batiks are absolutely beautiful! We will add the borders with a quilt as you go technique. Class Fee: $40./$75. plus supplies.

FEBRUARY:

WILD ROSE BLOCK OF THE MONTH– 2/14, 3/13, 4/17, 5/15, 10am or 6pm:

This is the most beautiful blue and yellow quilt we have ever seen! Join us and learn a different block each month utilizing Marti Michell’s special cutting templates and instructions. This class will continue through out the rest of 2012. Class Fee: $75. for the year plus kit.

RAGGY VEST WORKSHOP– JANUARY 24, 10-1PM:

Rag quilts are so popular, we thought a cute, pieced rag vest would be great! We will use Kwik Sew #3172, and our great Woolies Flannel. Class Fee: $15/$25. plus supplies

WILDFLOWER BLOCK OF THE MONTH—2/16, 3/15, 4/19, 5/17, 10am or 6pm:

There is nothing better than working on a bright, beautiful quilt in the winter to lift your spirits! This quilt is comprised of machine embroidered and appliquéd quilt blocks put together in a quilt as you go fashion. We will complete this project in 6 months. This is a great project for anyone with an embroidery machine! Class Fee: $50./$75. plus supplies.

LILAC HILL QUILT– Feb. 28 & March 6, 10am or 6pm:

This quilt uses the beautiful Lilac Hill line of fabrics from Moda featuring soft lilacs and sage green color ways. Quick and easy, we will use a charm pack for piecing and you will also learn applique’ techniques. Class Fee: $25./$40. Plus supplies.

MARCH

THE SMART HANDBAG– March 1 & 8, 10am OR 6pm:

We love this handbag...you make a “shell” and then make different outside covers to give the bag multiple looks! No need to keep changing the contents of one bag to another, just put a new cover on the bag. Class Fee: $25./$40. plus supplies.

BRACELET WORKSHOP 1—BANGLE WITH DANGLES– March 20, 10am or 6pm:

Join us for this fun and easy bracelet workshop and learn how to do easy introductory wire wrapping. You can pick the colors of your choice and just have fun! Class Fee: $15./$25. plus supplies.

FRESH FLOWERS TABLE RUNNER-March 27 & April 3, 10am or 6pm:

This table runner is so bright and cheerful you will know for sure spring is on it’s way! Featuring a large floral center and bright sashing, we will use the exploding pineapple technique for constructing the blocks. Class Fee: $25./$40. plus supplies.

APRIL

BRACELET WORKSHOP 2—CRYSTAL CHANNEL LINK—April 10, 10am & 6pm:

In this workshop you will learn how to join channel links and apply a clasp to make a classic beautiful bracelet! Class Fee: $15./$25. plus supplies

MAY

EMBELLISHED BATIK JACKET– May 1, 8 & 22, 10AM & 6PM:

Join us for this wonderful technique class where you will learn couching, bobbin work, fabric texturizing, double needle work and much more! You will take a basic Kwik Sew pattern and make it a one-of-a-kind work of art! Pattern available in misses and plus size! Class Fee: $30./$50. plus supplies

CHOCOLATE KITCHEN TOWEL OF THE MONTH:

WE WILL CREATE A RECIPE TOWEL FOR EACH MONTH...WHAT A GREAT GIFT!, AND THE RECIPES ARE GOOD! WHO KNOWS, WE MAY EVEN HAVE THE RECIPE MADE UP HERE FOR TASTING!

SOCK OF THE MONTH CLUB:

WE WILL MAKE A DIFFERENT THEMED PAIR OF EMBROIDERED SOCKS EACH MONTH...YOU WILL ALSO LEARN TO USE THE FRE EARM HOOP!

HELP CLASS

Help Class is a class we offer if you need extra help on a project or miss a class and need to get caught up. Due to our busy schedule here, we ask that if you need help you register for this class. It will be held on the following dates at 10am-12noon and also 6-8pm. Class Fee—$20. 2/23, 3/29, 4/26 & 5/31
