JANUARY

MACHINE GUIDE CLASS– January 15, 22 & 29th— 10AM OR 6PM:

Not feeling all that familiar with your machine? Join us for this class and learn new techniques to get you on the road to sewing success! The Janome Education Department has indicated to us that these classes are worth $75./hour. This is a great savings for the customers who have purchased their machines at Sew Much Fun! MAKE SURE TO CALL TO REGISTER.

Class Fee: Free if machine was purchased from Sew Much Fun! $150. otherwise (no discounts will be available on this class).

BEGINNING EMBROIDERY WORKSHOP— January 26th, 10AM—3PM:

Do you wonder what stabilizer to use with certain fabrics? Let us help you unravel the learning curve and get right to perfect results! We will also discuss needles, threads, marking, hooping and stabilizing, and placement guidelines. Join us for a fun class and leave with handouts and samples! Class Fee: $30.

PAPER PIECED VALENTINE TABLE RUNNER, JANUARY 17 & 31, 10AM OR 6PM:

Would you like to learn how to paper piece? Join us for this elementary class where you will learn the basics and make a great table runner in the process. Once you learn the technique, making very detailed and intricate blocks is a snap!

Class Fee: $25, plus supplies.

FEBRUARY

HOODIE WORKSHOP—FEBRUARY 5 & 12, 10AM OR 6PM:

Everyone loves a snuggly hooded sweatshirt to cuddle up in and stay warm, so why not join us and make one for yourself or a loved one for Valentine’s Day? We have wonderful sweatshirt fleece in an array of colors for anyone on your list. If you have a serger this is a great class for you! Class Fee: $25, plus supplies.

BEGINNING CROCHET SCARF WORKSHOP—FEB. 6 & 13, 10AM:

Many of you have expressed an interest in learning to crochet so we have the best crochet authority we know, our friend Jane, available to teach this class. She will guide you through the basics and have you making a scarf in no time! Class Fee: $25, plus supplies.

EMBELLISHED FLOWER BOWL WORKSHOP—FEB. 7 & 21, 10AM OR 6PM:

We have a wonderful flower panel available to make a one-of-a-kind bowl that can be embellished with decorative threads and crystals, beads, etc. We will use a new fusible stiff interfacing product and can be molded and shaped after the embellishing and sewing; therefore you are working on a flat surface at all times….much easier ! Class Fee: $25, plus supplies.

WINDOWS FOR EMBROIDERERS-FEB. 13, 6PM:

We have found that you can do anything on your computer if you are able to navigate windows. Join us for this intro into your windows operating system.

ST. PATRICK’S DAY PLACEMATS—FEB.14 & 28TH, 10AM OR 6PM:

These placemats are so fun to make with a new “tumbler” ruler...quick and easy cutting! Add to that, we will be using a new fusible pre-cut placemat interfacing. These are so quick and easy you could make sets for every holiday! Class Fee: $25, plus supplies.

FLANNEL JACKET—FEB. 19 & MARCH 5, 10AM OR 6PM:

Every time we hang this jacket in our flannel section, we get requests for a class! Join us and you will end up with a classic 3-season garment! It is created with 2 layers of flannel and is very snuggly with our wonderful flannels! Class Fee: $30, plus supplies.

CROCHET AFGHAN WORKSHOP—MARCH 6, 13 & APRIL 3, 10AM:

Join our master crochet authority, Jane, as she guides you through the various stitches to make a beautiful afghan! If you are new to crochet, take Jane’s February scarf class to become proficient in the basics before you take this class. If you have crochet experience, then this class is for you. Stop by the store to see Jane’s beautiful sample. Class Fee: $40, plus supplies.

EASTER NAPKIN WORKSHOP—MARCH 7, 10AM OR 6PM:

Learn how easy it is to make quick, easy and colorful holiday napkins to dress up your holiday table! We have tried to have you covered for all the winter/spring holidays and Easter/Spring is no exception. This workshop is just one class, so why not join us! Class Fee: $15, plus supplies.

PILLOWCASE WORKSHOP—MARCH 12, 10AM & 6PM:

We have made many quilts here at Sew Much Fun, but so often it is hard to find pillowcases that look right at the local stores, soo…..why not make your own? Join us and see how easy it is ! Class Fee: $15, plus supplies.

BEGINNING QUILTING, MARCH 14 & 28, 10AM:

So you have made the quilt top...maybe several, now how do you quilt them? Join us and gain knowledge of several different techniques for surface quilting your quilt to make it beautifully your own. Class Fee: $30, plus supplies.

VICTORIAN MODERN QUILT—MARCH 19, APRIL 9 & 23RD, 10AM OR 6PM:

We fell in love with the Victorian Modern line of fabric as soon as we saw it because of it’s contemporary spin on Victorian. This class is a great beginning piecing class and a great intro to the world of quilting, as you will learn rotary cutting, piecing and how to get those difficult seams to match. If you are more experienced, this is just a great, colorful quilt! Join us for fun! Class Fee: $40, plus supplies.

MC 11000 & MC 12000 STIPPLE WORKSHOP, MARCH 21, 10AM OR 6PM:

The above noted machines have wonderful unique stipple quilting capabilities! If you have one of them, join us for this workshop where we will show you how to use the accufil hoop and magnetic clamps to quickly and beautifully quilt your quilt with professional beauty! Class Fee: Free if machine was purchased at Sew Much Fun!, $50, otherwise.

PILLOW SHAM WORKSHOP—MARCH 26, 10AM OR 6PM:

Like the pillowcase workshop listed above, we like to make our own pillow shams because we can make a beautiful ensemble when paired with the beautiful quilts we have made! Class Fee: $15, plus supplies

APRIL

VERANDA TOTE—APRIL 11 & 25TH, 10AM OR 6PM:

This bag is soo cute and is made from 3 different panels that you can configure any way you want! Not too big or too small...just the right size and you can add differing embellishment options to make each bag totally unique! You can never have too many bags! Class Fee: $25, plus supplies.

Monthly Clubs and Classes

FEATHERED STAR EMBROIDABLOCK 2013– 10AM OR 6PM:

Join us on the following dates for this wonderful quilt: 1/30, 2/20, 3/27, 4/24, 5/29. This is a 12 month class and will continue in the summer and fall of 2013.

SHIRT OF THE MONTH– 10AM

Join us for this club where we create a different themed shirt each month: 1/19, 2/2, 3/2, 4/6, 5/4.

SOCK OF THE MONTH—10AM:

We make a different themed pair of socks each month! 3/23, 4/27, 5/25.

DRINK RECIPE TOWEL OF THE MONTH—1OAM

WE WILL CREATE A RECIPE TOWEL FOR EACH MONTH...WHAT A GREAT GIFT!, AND THE RECIPES ARE GOOD! WHO KNOWS, WE MAY EVEN HAVE THE RECIPE MADE UP HERE FOR TASTING! This club will meet the following dates: 2/9, 3/9, 4/13, 5/11

KNIT GROUP—EVERY FRIDAY—10AM:

Join us to knit or crochet on any project you would like and have coffee, treats and great company! We
would also like to start a Wednesday evening knit group so please let us know if you are interested. We are also planning on expanding our yarns so please let us know what you might like!
